About me and my therapy practice

I became a counsellor because I care about people, and want to make a positive difference to their lives. I want to enable you to discover a better way of living and coping, no matter what life throws at you.

I am a warm and compassionate therapist whose focus is on my clients, listening to their problems and concerns without judgement in a supportive environment.

Your first session

Many people feel some anxiety when seeking counselling help and so it may be a challenge for you to make that first phone call or to send the first email. Please be reassured that putting you at ease is a priority and I will be happy to explain how I work and to answer any questions that you have.

What I can help with

My experience is broad and I have worked in a variety of settings. Here are some examples of things I can help you with:

Abuse, Anxiety, Depression, Relationships, Self-esteem, Trauma, Work-related issues, Anger management, Self-harm, Domestic Violence, Unresolved issues from your past, to name just some.

Types of therapy

I offer an integrated approach to counselling. This means I have many different styles of counselling available to me for working alongside you. During sessions with me you will be able to explore your thoughts and feelings free from concerns of rejection or judgement.

Face to face or on-line counselling if appropriate.
